Hawzah News Agency- Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi stated at the meeting honoring the personality of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, which was held by the Center for the Management of Islamic Seminaries in Qom and in cooperation with the Al-Mustafa International University in Qom,” Late Imam Khomeini (RA) raised the voice of Islam and freedom.”
Pointing out that this year is the 60th anniversary of this incident, he said,” based on the logic of Islam and divine values, new movements have grown in Africa.”
The head of Iran’s Seminary stated that the pioneers of the Islamic movement have raised the flags of the Islamic revolution in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen and Africa after half a century and said,” We mark the 60th anniversary of the Islamic revolution movement, which was founded by Imam Khomeini (RA).”
Pointing out that for more than half a century, we passed through difficult obstacles and turns with a thousand problems, he said,” We are on the verge of 22 Bahman and we passed through many hardships, all the scholars and arrogant powers were against the discourse of Late Imam Khomeini and the Islamic Revolution, but this discourse was not silenced because the likes of Sheikh Zakzaky and the proud Mujahideen in the world joined the Imam (RA) and the Islamic Revolution for the love of Islam, justice, freedom and spirituality.”
The Head of Iran’s Seminary further stated that the soft war designed against the Islamic Revolution is unprecedented in human history and stated,” All the soft and hard facilities are against a discourse that they know they simply cannot attack.”
Ayatollah Arafi noted that the enemy had hundreds of evil conspiracies and clarified,” One of such conspiracies is the creation of terrorist groups like ISIS.”
He stated that the Islamic revolution invites the oppressed humanity to stand up against the oppressor, and said,” The way and custom of the Islamic revolution is to present Islam to the world.”
Ayatollah Arafi pointed out that the Islamic Revolution has always emphasized respect for the scholars, elites and people of other countries, and said,” In seminaries, we are trying to present religion to others.”
He continued,” Today, American and Western arrogant nations should know that if Iran did not support the resistance of Palestine, Lebanon and Yemen today, this voice will be silenced. This voice cannot be silenced, we are not the ones who defend the resistance, but the thought of the Islamic Revolution has pushed this movement forward.”
The head of Iranian seminaries added,” We make a pact with the martyrs of the resistance front that we will continue their path and it will be extended with the leaders of Islam all over the world.”
He emphasized,” The message of this meeting is to honor the generals and soldiers of this holy path and to declare solidarity with scholars all over the world.”
Pointing out that we expect African governments to return to their native governments and Islam, Ayatollah Arafi said,” This is the issue of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic seminary, and we want your dignity and independence.”
